DOUBLE TILT FACE REST TIGHTENING INSTRUCTIONS

It may be necessary overtime to increase the tension on your double tilt face rest. If slipping occurs when your headrest is locked a simple tune-up will solve this. Turn the face rest upside down and unlock the main lever. Tighten the two Philip screws 1/4 – 1/2 turn ONLY, to prevent over tightening and stripping. (make sure the Phillip screws are even in height) Re-lock the main lever and test by applying pressure. Repeat as needed until your face rest holds properly.

>DOLPHIN II U BOLT TIGHTENING INSTRUCTIONS

If the main chest or seat tube on your Dolphin II is slipping downwards when it is locked, tightening your collar clamp will solve this. Start with unlocking the main cam lever. Use a 1/2″ wrench to tighten the two nuts on the side of the collar clamp a 1/4 – 1/2 turn ONLY. (Do not tighten the four nuts on top as these allow the collar clamps movement when adjusting your Dolphin II height.) Re-lock the cam lever and test by applying pressure. Repeat as needed until your Dolphin II holds properly.
